Characters and Clowns for roving entertainment, event activation and performances. All with a high level of participation and created in response to community engagement.
JAN
Jan is a netball and life coach who delivers sage wisdom through her megaphone. Originally created as part of The Squad by DeBase for the Commonwealth Games 2018, to engage participants with silly physical activity.
UNAKITE
Non-verbal, interactive mischief from this soft creature-clown. Developed as part of NOMAD.
SOLICITED ADVICE
The doctor will see you now. Poetic counseling in a booth on wheels; this project was created for the Queensland Poetry Festival and presented as an opportunity for festival-goers to creatively respond and create unique, improvised 'prescription' poems.
CLEOPATRA
Fresh from the Pharoahs chamber. Originally created for the QLD Museum 'Egyptian Mummies: Ancient Lives' as an interactive extension of the exhibit.

A roving character and photography collaboration with independent artists as a response to the #MeToo movement.
AMMONIA THE PUNK CLOWN
A musical anarchist clown for modern times. Ammonia broaches moral and social issues with clown naivety; singing about veganism, activism, and socio-political challenges.
