Caitlin Strongarm is an Australian born performer, maker and facilitator currently based between Australia, China and the UK.

She specialises in participatory arts experiences for all ages; working primarily in puppetry, clown, non-verbal performance, interactive installation, theatre for young audiences, and community-informed collaborative works.

Recent collaborations: Punchdrunk Enrichment (UK), Imaginary Theatre (AUS), Commonwealth Games Festival 2018 (AUS), Brisbane Powerhouse (AUS), QLD Museum (AUS), Woodford Folk Festival (AUS), The Arts Space for Kids (CHINA).

As a multi-disciplinary artist and performer, she has been seen and loved in theatres and festivals world-wide as a character and clown, high energy physical theatre artist, street-theatre provocateur and giant puppeteer, as well as an interactive theatre facilitator in schools and hospitals.

As a facilitator, she is gentle and provoking, combining a BA Applied Theatre (Griffith University, 2012) with years of experience as a distraction therapist, interactive theatre-maker, and teacher to deliver arts based workshops that centre a collaborative and empowering process for all participants.

As a designer and maker she has worked across theatre, festivals and film in Australia, China and the UK. Her designs in costume, puppetry and art range from delicate to grotesque, are completely original and 100% captivating.
